October 5 (Mon), 2015
Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto, Japan.
Aims and scopes
We will have a one-day mini-symposium on computational physics for
heavy-ion collisions on Monday in the next week of the Quark Matter 2015 conference.
http://qm2015.riken.jp/
This mini-symposium held as a part of the YITP long-term workshop,
Computational Advances in Nuclear and Hadron Physics (CANHP 2015)
http://www2.yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~canhp2015/
Sep. 21-Oct. 30, 2015, YITP, Kyoto, Japan.
It is a good opportunity to have a mini-symposium related both to
computational physics and heavy-ion physics,
after QM2015 and during CANHP 2015.
Subjects
* The subjects to be discussed include
* Lattice QCD calculations related to heavy-ion physics,
* Hydrodynamics and transport models for high-energy heavy-ion collisions,
* Color glass condensate and small-x physics,
* Preequilibrium dynamics of quarks and gluons,
* Jet, heavy quarks, and other hard probes,
* Correlations, fluctuations, and QCD phase diagram,
* Related subjects,
Abstract &Registraion
The mini-symposium consists of invited talks, oral talks,
and short psentations for posters. We will pick several abstracts
for oral psentations. Abstracts should be submitted at the registration
by the end of August.
Please register to this one-day mini-symposium
from the long-term workshop registration page.
